Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our fast-paced Technical Services department, supporting our Field Service Engineers by taking ownership of organising the planned maintenance activities and allocating reactive work for medical equipment systems.

Here's what you can expect to be doing…

  • Work closely with the management team to support new systems, processes and central capacity planning.

  • Effectively allocate work for field-based engineers across the UK, ensuring work is planned and scheduled to meet the needs of the customers and our contracted Service Level Agreements.

  • Build a good rapport with the wider team to ensure that the most effective solution is delivered for the customer.

  • Develop an understanding of our customer requirements, products and skill set of engineers to allow for effective decision-making when planning and scheduling work.

  • Monitor reactive requests, completion rates and job overruns that may jeopardise the planned work schedule.

  • Assist with daily, weekly and monthly reporting of management information relating to the planning and scheduling activities, supporting the team to ensure that key performance indicators are met.

  • Ensures that the electronic scheduling system and capacity plan is maintained accurately to reflect live service contracts and availability of engineers.

  • Apply a flexible approach to daily changes in capacity planning, work demands and customer requirements.

    Good standard of education

  • Able to achieve and maintain service targets

  • Experience of planning and scheduling

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Be a team player with the ability to prioritise workloads and work unsupervised

  • Good organisation and planning skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
