Join Bike Assist Legal, a leading motorcycle personal injury specialist, as a PI Fast Track Litigation Executive (Pre-Litigation). We are seeking an experienced individual to manage a caseload of 150-175 pre-litigated Fast Track Personal Injury Claims, ensuring cases progress seamlessly in line with our internal processes and procedures., As a PI Fast Track Litigation Executive (Pre-Litigation), your role is crucial in handling Fast Track personal injury cases from exiting the Portal through to Litigation referral stage. Your focus will be on efficient claims handling, client care, and contributing to individual and team fee income targets., Claims Handling:

  • Reviewing new files from the New Claims Team within 48 hours and taking necessary actions.

  • Ensuring correct information in the case management system and signed paperwork by the client.

  • Conducting an introductory call to clients within 48 hours of file receipt.

  • Advising clients on liability and potential split settlements.

  • Handling correspondence and calls within firm SLA's.

  • Investigating liability, seeking necessary reports, and reviewing case law applicable to motorcycle claims.

  • Managing the medical process, including instructing medical agencies and identifying rehabilitation needs.

  • Updating clients regularly, making Part 36 Offers, and ensuring compliance with Court Directions.

  • Referring cases to Supervising Solicitor/Management in various situations.

  • Chasing down costs on settled files and referring cases for litigation when necessary.

  • Meeting performance targets and working off a task list generated by Proclaim.


  • Communication:
  • Ensuring efficient communication for strong client and third-party relationships.

  • Using the telephone as the main source of communication.


  • Development and Coaching:
  • Attending weekly team meetings, organized training sessions, and bi-monthly 121s with Team Leader/Manager/Supervising Solicitor.

  • Participating in the firm's quarterly face-to-face Training Days.


  • Compliance:
  • Conducting periodic file reviews in line with client requirements and firm SLA's.

  • Updating reports as required.

  • Completing 180-day pre-Limitation reviews on all files.

    Minimum of 2 years fee-earning experience dealing with Fast Track Personal Injury claims (pre-litigation).

  • Good working knowledge of relevant pre-action protocols and CPR.

  • Competent with case management systems (ideally Proclaim) and good knowledge of MS Office.

  • Excellent negotiator with strong communication skills.

  • Proficient IT skills.

  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Strong decision-maker with the confidence to act under own authority.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Well-organized and conscientious with the ability to handle challenging situations.

  • Positive outlook with the ability to remain calm when dealing with difficult clients.
