Full Job Description

  • Using the tech stack above (predominantly PHP Laravel) to build and maintain online registration systems for conferences and exhibitions in the United Kingdom but also across the globe.

  • Be able to manage your time efficiently to keep up with project milestones for design, development, testing and deployment.

  • Communicating and liaising with account managers to deal with requests and functionality for the project build/setup.

  • Ability to help support, pickup and work on colleague's projects where needed.

    We are looking for a dynamic individual to join an established team of technical talent with a good standard of verbal and written English. This is a full-time role, primarily standard office hours, from our head office in Coventry, but flexible working can be accommodated after an initial office-based period. A lot of training will be learnt on the job, but it is imperative you have at least 1-2 years of commercial experience as well as having maturity and a very good level of knowledge in:

  • PHP (Laravel)

  • HTML

  • CSS, This is a fast-paced role where project builds can take anywhere from a few hours to several weeks depending on the scope and complexity. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to plan their own day effectively.

  • On rare occasions during very busy periods, we may need you to support our technical teams onsite at events around the country or overseas. During these periods any travel, accommodation or subsistence costs will be met by the business.
    Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:
  • MVC frameworks (we use Laravel)

  • Version control (we use GitHub)

  • JavaScript (we use Vue.js)

  • Working using Agile methodologies


  • The following will also be an advantage:
  • Be a confident and clear communicator.

  • Have some general IT networking knowledge.

  • Be thorough and have a high attention to detail.

  • Be willing to travel and spend time away from home at times.
