To provide effective clinical and educational leadership, contributing to the strategic development of Regional and National Pharmacy Strategy. To contribute to the vision of the local NHS and to enhance patient care by providing leadership and direction with respect to the quality of education and training. Demonstrate excellent leadership and management behaviours including coordinating education provision, the ability to lead beyond the team and across the department. Responsible for foundation recruitment, workload allocation & team development. To support compliance with requirements, particularly with regards to the supervision and support for trainees and learners. To identify learning needs and support the provision of educational appraisal working alongside Pharmacy School colleagues, educator development and resource for faculty, trainees and learners as appropriate.
