Pharmacist

As a Pharmacist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care, it's more than dispensing medicine, it's listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. Your main areas of responsibility will be:

• Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice


• Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy


• Building the pharmacy capability of store teams


• Conducting continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount


• Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services

• Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)


• Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals

• Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services

  Hedon is a historical town with a church built in 1190!!! And is about 7 miles from Hull city centre. It's a really close knit community with wonderful customers. The team is well established and most have been there over 20 years!
  
  We currently dispense around 14000 items per month, so a VERY busy store, however there is a massive opportunity for growth, plus we are going live with DSP in February! There is a full time ACT in store too.

Opening hours are 8:30-6 mon-fri and 9-6 saturday with a 1-hour full store closure lunch period 1-2pm.
Pharmacist hours would be 9.5 hours per day with a 1-hour unpaid break (so 8.5 paid hours per day) with (I assume) an every other Saturday working pattern, no bank holiday working.
