Full Job Description

I am seeking a compassionate and reliable personal assistant to provide support to myself, a wonderful individual facing challenges with depression and anxiety. This role involves assisting with daily life activities, providing personal care, and fostering an environment that promotes independence. Your role will be essential in helping me access the community and engage in various activities that enhance my overall well-being., Domestic tasks such as vacuuming and changing bed linens.
Assistance with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables.
Presence is required at the property while I have a bath (no personal care or bathroom presence is needed).
Encouragement and support for me in completing tasks.
On occasion, assist with prescription collection.
On rare occasions, provide support in getting me to appointments at the local doctor's surgery.
Ability to encourage and motivate, particularly in the face of depression and anxiety.
Empowering and assisting in maintaining my independence.
Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance my general wellbeing.
Help and support in and around the house.
Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Person specification
Essential:
Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
The ideal candidate would require a calming, reassuring, Caring and Patience
The person I employ, must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work including total respect for my privacy.

Manual Handling
GDPR Stage One & GDPR Stage Two
Health and Safety, Services

  • Full UK driving license

    Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.

    The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.
    Hours and times of work: 04 Hrs Per Week, Time discussed further at interview.
    The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
    Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff.
    The post is subject to the following:
    A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
    Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
    Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
