Full Job Description

As we open our doors, we're excited to announce we are looking for a team of People Operation Assistants to assist with the staff check in / check out process for the crew members and event day teams.
Each event day at Co-op Live we will offer a warm, friendly welcome, check in and issue accreditation to over 500 crew members, in a extremely fast paced environment.
This role offers lots of variety, assisting with the check in process, issuing accredition and uniform and supporting crew clocking in using relevant time and attendance system. At the end of the event, People Operation Assistants will help with the collection of uniform, checking out of crew and thanking crew for an awesome shift.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm welcoming atmosphere to all our crew

  • Go above and beyond our customer expectations and ensure that all our crew have the best experience working at Co-op Live

  • Assist the people team within the check in and out area

  • Assist with the co-ordination of the staffing operation and any queue management

  • Direct, motivate, encourage, and inspire staff to deliver the highest results

  • Deal with crew requests and queries

  • Show compassion and support the team

  • Use the time and attendance system to set up vein scanning or facial recognition for crew members

  • Distribute and potentially transport uniforms

  • Monitor presentation of crew members, ensuring they are wearing the correct uniform

  • Stock take of uniforms and preparation of dirty uniforms for laundry collection

  • Direct/take crew members to their area of work within the Arena

  • Support Level Managers and Event Supervisors with updates on staff arrival or cancellations for their areas

  • Comply and complete any company paperwork as and when requested

  • Assist in always keeping the staffing area clean and tidy

  • Knowledge and understanding of safety standards and evacuation procedures and ensure implementation

  • Deliver amazing experiences that are long lasting in the memory for our crew, enhancing on Co-op Live being an employer of choice, Due to scheduled working hours applicants must be 18 or over.

  • Passion for working with people and delivering exceptional service

  • Work independently when required using own initiative

  • Well presented, friendly, approachable and with an eye for detail

  • Deal with customer requests and queries

  • Multitask and prioritise during busy periods

  • Willing to take on other jobs to balance the teams work load


  • Desirable
  • Staffing operational experience in a stadium, events arena, festival environment or equivalent fast-paced setting or volume-led environment

  • Warehouse or logistics experience
