Full Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, curious, and driven Analytics professional to join our hardworking and passionate HR team supporting our People Analytics Manager with all things people data. As a People Analytics and Insights Analyst you will gather, analyse, and report on HR metrics, providing expert data analytics, reporting and insights, using an array of tools, including Workday and Power BI.

This role would suit someone who loves data, who has a curious mindset and has experience analysing customer focused data sets, providing user friendly insights that really tell a story in the most impactful and compelling way.

What will I be doing?

  • Collect and consolidate HR data from various sources to simplify the sources of People data provided to the organisation.

  • Understand stakeholders' data needs and create accurate reports, data and insights that are then communicated to drive impact and influence.

  • Investigate and reconcile data inconsistencies through data cleansing and conducting regular data audits

  • Create dashboards and conduct analysis utilising Workday and Power BI and ensure accurate data/reporting is set to deliver this.

  • Develop and maintain HR Dashboards and Reports using data visualisation tools to present data in a user-friendly way.

  • Use advanced statistical techniques to build predictive models to forecast employee attrition and support workforce planning.

  • Support the People Analytics and Insights Manager to provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to HR leaders to enhance recruitment strategies, employee engagement and retention efforts.

    Relevant experience in reporting and data analysis techniques using data to drive insights and make recommendations.

  • Relevant experience in manipulating a broad range of data sets for reporting needs or driving out insight (i.e. SQL and Workday reporting).

  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI (or similar analytics tool) and MS Excel

  • Relevant experience in presenting findings using PowerPoint and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI), using outputs to make actionable recommendations.

  • Evidence of proactive behaviours, and ability to work independently, challenges own performance, invests in own development and finds innovative solutions to problems.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey expertise in a way that engages and builds their knowledge.
