  • You'll be responsible for:
  • Oversight of the UK payroll processes, accounting and reconciliations.

  • Ownership of payroll accounts and reconciliations.

  • Oversight of the cost to employ and standard rate cost build up, ensuring all elements are in line with actual costs.

  • Ensure all staff costs are accurately charged and allocated to the correct projects/cost centres.

  • Ownership of payroll accounting processes, seeking opportunities for continuous improvements and control improvements.

  • Business partnering with HR, tax and other stakeholders on payroll related matters.

  • Working with international professional tax and accounting advisors.

  • Execution of the group TP policy, supporting the team with calculation, postings and preparation of intercompany invoices.

  • Management of corporate group recharges.

  • Manage intercompany processing team.

  • Establish and maintain processes and procedures to ensure that intercompany is being reconciled to within a satisfactory level on a regular basis.

  • Enter transactions into Oracle and liaise with relevant Business Units to ensure all intercompany transactions are accounted for correctly.

  • Complete and maintain intercompany account reconciliations.

  • Raise intercompany invoices as required to meet local statutory requirements.

  • Produce and distribute global intercompany reports.

  • Communicate with International teams to confirm and agree intercompany balances.

  • Provide commentary to Financial Controller (Corporate Services) on material intercompany differences on both P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.

  • Work closely with the Treasury team to settle intercompany balances on a regular basis and hedge any material FX exposures to reduce exchange rate risks.

  • Support statutory audit.

  • Responding to inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.

  • Involvement in ad hoc requests / project work including finance improvement programmes.

  • Line management of 4 direct reports so support with these activities.

    Qualified ACCA or ACA, with one year PQE as a minimum.

  • Practical experience of financial and management accounting.
