PART-TIME WOOD WORKER

DESTAL Gates & Fencing Ltd has an opportunity for a part-time (18 hours) Wood Worker at our manufacturing site in Chester, Cheshire CH1.
We are a well-established company who manufacture fencing and gates for the home market as well as manufacture export cases and provide packing services to industry. We produce various timber gates, fencing, cases and pallets and ship throughout the UK.
The successful applicant will be trained to manufacture our products to a very high standard and within time constraints.

A good eye for detail.
Experience in using woodworking equipment/electric hand tools
Experience working with wood and have factory/shop floor experience.
Be very trustworthy.
Be able to think and act ahead.
Flexible to the business needs.
Be able to lift up to 20 kgs, Disability Confident

Salary dependent on experience.
There is a requirement to operate electric circular saws and nail guns, on that basis applicants over 17 years of age can apply.
