Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint a part-time project manager (50% FTE

  • ) to work on an NIHR funded project developing, co-designing and testing an online arts and culture intervention for mental health in underrepresented young people. The work is led from Oxford by Dr Rebecca Syed Sherriff and Professor Kam Bhui, with University, NHS and NGO partners around England. You will be based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital, Oxford. Hybrid working would be considered with a minimum of 1 day in the office per week.

  • The post is for a fixed term (funded to 30 April 2026 with possibility of extension until 30 April 2028).
    You will be providing project management support, including devising and implementing office administrative systems and procedures, planning and managing resourcing research projects, and overseeing the day-to-day logistics of the study. You will provide administrative oversight on financial matters, identify priority items of business and allocate time and resources accordingly.

    You will hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant area, or equivalent relevant experience. With excellent administrative and project management skills, you will have the ability use initiative to plan and organise complex activities and programmes, requiring formulation and adjustment as necessary. Experience of managing multi-site projects would be desirable as would an interest in mental health delivery research.
