As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join us as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant with Credit Control and Sales Support Responsibilities on both sides of our business AB Tutor and Globe Micro.

As a Part-Time Administrative Assistant at Globe Group, you will undertake a multifaceted role, providing administrative support to various departments with a primary focus on assisting the sales department and credit control . You will work closely with our finance and sales teams to ensure efficient credit management processes and deliver outstanding support to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, adaptable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

. Credit Control:

  • Chasing outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.

  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and mail to resolve payment discrepancies and facilitate payment arrangements.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment details, and credit control activities using accounting software and spreadsheets.

  • Generate aging reports and analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and prioritize collection efforts.


  • Sales Support:
  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining customer databases.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products/services and resolve any order-related issues.

  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide product/service information, pricing, and availability as needed.

  • Collaborate with marketing team to distribute promotional materials and support sales campaigns.


  • General Administrative Duties:
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, answering phone calls.

  • Assist with inventory management, office supplies ordering, and maintenance of office equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding credit management, sales administration, and data confidentiality.

    Previous experience in administrative roles with exposure to credit control and sales support preferred but not essential as full training can be provided.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g Sage).

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
