Full Job Description

We're looking for an Administration Assistant to join us at our site in Ross-on-Wye on a part time, fixed term basis.

This role reports to the Production Manager and will provide administrative and system support to enable the Production Manager to concentrate more fully on the requirements of an exciting internal company project. This is a fixed-term role, with an end date of 30th May 2025.

Predominantly this will involve computer-based work looking at time and attendance systems, performance data and associated items.

This role is part-time, requiring 16 hours attendance over Monday to Thursday, with a degree of flexibility in working hours, to coincide with those of the Production Manager,

  • To ensure that the site annualised hours system is tracked accurately

  • To provide support to ensure compliance with Time & Attendance systems and associated communications are completed

  • Analyse data and provide reports, charts and graphs to demonstrate performance

  • Support with other administrative tasks around the Production function. Examples of this would be minute taking, filing production paperwork accurately and completing data input to spreadsheets to assist in performance management

  • Assist Team Leaders and other team members in respect of Time & Attendance documentations, supporting meetings with note-taking and other associated tasks

  • Provide support to other departments as necessary, mainly in respect of compliance paperwork, training documentation and other administrative tasks

  • Carry out reasonable tasks as requested by the Production Manager in line with department or company objectives

    Effective communication skills, encouraging good communication and working relationships across the business

  • A good eye for detail

  • Competent at Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Working with numbers and computer-driven data to create meaningful outputs and be comfortable with reporting and communicating these

  • Working in a team environment, and able to manage a number of work streams at one time


  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experienced in administration, preferably using time & attendance or associated systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages

  • Excellent PC skills
