Paralegal (2628)

The Specialist Recoveries team handle all managers of subrogated recovery claims, including liability disputes, occupiers liability, first party fraud, indemnitiy withdrawl, contribution claims and, SPR 25 payments. Cases range in value from high to low.
Main duties:

• Action all cases in line with practice group/client service standards and protocols


• Assist in driving performance across the fee earning team


• Utilise negotiation and communication skills to proactively settle/ assist in the settlement of cases whilst further developing legal technical knowledge


• Prioritise and organise work efficiently and effectively to ensure client service level agreements and deadlines are met


• Analyse risk and utilise commercial knowledge to develop sound judgement in order to justify decisions in the management of cases
  
  Debt recovery claims handling and litigation experience


• Knowledge of the CPR


• The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients, in writing and person


• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work to strict deadlines


• Someone who is able to demonstrate a real desire to develop their career with DWF


Desirable:

• Property recovery experience


• Knowledge and experience in use of a case management system
