Full Job Description
- To action cases in line with the department's and client's service standards and protocols.
- To act as a trusted member within the team, taking responsibility and ensuring the case management system is kept up to date with court orders, and liaising with clients.
- Conduct thorough investigations into liability and damages, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and liaising with experts.
- Progression of cases to a satisfactory and speedy settlement per the client's requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices, maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards at all times.
- Strong understanding of legal technical terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing personal injury litigation in the UK is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Strong academic background; Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Highly ambitious, committed to excellence, and possessing a progressive mindset to distinguish oneself from others.

Our Catastrophic Personal Injury team at DWF, Manchester are currently hiring for a Paralegal. The Catastrophic Injury team is one of the largest in the UK and is recognised nationally. Our 30+ strong Manchester team acts for household name insurer clients on high value, complex personal injury claims . The team's expertise covers Road Traffic Accidents (RTA) and Employers Liability (EL) / Public Liability (PL) matters although expertise in all of those sub-specialisms is not necessarily a pre-requisite for the role.
