Join Sage's global Legal Service Centre as a Paralegal in our Legal function supporting our colleagues, suppliers and customers! This is a fast-paced and varied role, and you'll focus on areas such as intellectual property, data protection, corporate activities, compliance, supplier contracts and product-related legal matters. You'll develop and maintain policies and processes to ensure Sage's ongoing legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities Hybrid work arrangement: (2-3 days on-site at the Newcastle office, 2 days remote).

How success will be measured: The goal of this role will be to provide an excellent level of pragmatic legal support to all colleagues across the UKI region and globally out of the Legal Service Centre, while effectively managing legal risk.

30/60/90 days:

  • 30 days: your entrance to Sage, complete all general onboarding and introductory trainings and meet all key stakeholders

  • 60 days: become more comfortable with the day-to-day tasks and work with your manager to define future measures of success (OKRs)

  • 90 days: full exposure to the scope of expectations while still receiving support from your team and working within the Legal Service Centre independently, Advert Working at Sage means you're supporting millions of small and medium sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter.     Your responsibilities will include conducting legal due diligence and research, reviewing customer and supplier contracts, and participating in contract negotiations with third parties. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver timely legal advice and engage in ongoing improvements to legal processes and procedures.


  • The ideal candidate will have a law degree attained at in the UK and current legal work experience:

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills

  • The ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders at different levels

  • Have strong research skills and excellent attention to detail
