Paint Sprayer / Finisher

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the largest generator specialist in the South West based in Bristol. The role includes preparing and paint spraying a variety of items including Vans, Cars, Trucks and Containers ranging in size, but not exclusive to 40ft.,

• Fully prep jobs, including filling, dent removal and masking


• Mix and carry out painting of Containers and components in Two Pack Paint (Sikkens/Mipa) Standard RAL Colours, including repairs/paint of company vehicles.


• In some instances, due to latest legislation, Water Based Paint will need to be used (metallics)


• Book out all paint stock to appropriate jobs, whilst informing Fabrication manager of all shortages


• Comply with the company's Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas/Spray booths are tidy.


• Comply with all aspects of the company's procedures regarding its quality, environmental management and occupational health & safety ISO accreditations, proactively contributing to the company's continuous improvement programme.
  
  General engineering background


• Qualifications in advanced spraying, Engineering: 1 year (required)


• Industrial Painting: 3 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

• Qualifications in advanced paint spraying (required)


• Forklift Licence (preferred)
