As a Paediatric Nurse, you're not just taking care of a baby, child or teenager. More than in any other nursing role, you're nurturing the needs of a family.
If you have a passion for working and caring for children whilst in hospital then look no further. We are searching for you.
When working with our team, you will be required to work in close liaison with all areas where children are cared for within the Trust, such as ED, day surgery, SCBU, children's community team and outpatients.

The acute children's ward at Torbay cares for children and young people 0 18yrs on our 19 bedded ward which consists of 2 HDU beds, 11 cubicles and a separate 6 bedded young peoples area. We also have a Short Stay Paediatric Assessment area (SSPAU).
There is lots of acute experience to be gained from working in our very friendly team. We provide in-house training and external courses, which will help you to develop new skills and enhance those you already have and you will be fully supported.
