Full Job Description

  • Conceptualise and design innovative products and packaging solutions from initial idea to final production, focusing on beauty devices and skincare products.

  • Develop detailed design specifications, 3D models, and prototypes using advanced design software.

  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new technologies into product and packaging designs.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and engineering to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and align with CurrentBody's brand objectives.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and oversee the production process, ensuring high-quality outputs.

  • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and perfect designs.

  • Stay updated with the latest developments in design software and tools, continuously improving skills and knowledge.

  • Push the boundaries of design, exploring new ideas and innovative approaches to create standout products and packaging.

    As the business enters this next stage of rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced Packaging and Product Designer with a passion for technology and beauty. This individual will play a key role in creating innovative packaging and product solutions that captivate our customers.


  • This role is suited to a creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record in product and packaging design. The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary, passionate about pushing the boundaries of product design and able to translate market data, consumer trends, and brand objectives into innovative, yet functional designs that stand out in the beauty tech market. This role involves working across various design disciplines, including graphic design, 3D modelling, and prototyping, to develop both product and packaging solutions.,
  • Proven experience in product and packaging design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects in the beauty or tech industry.

  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD or similar.

  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques.

  • Excellent creativity and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to life.

  • Experience in the tech industry, particularly with integrating technology into product design, is preferred.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and resources efficiently.

  • A degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Packaging Design, or a related field is preferred.


  • Desirable Skills:
  • · Experience with sustainable design practices and materials.

  • · Familiarity with user-centred design principles and ergonomics.

  • · Knowledge of digital fabrication tools such as 3D printers and CNC machines.
