Full Job Description

As Deputy Manager, you'll assist with planning the activities on offer and ordering any resources, ensuring food is ordered, stored, and served appropriately, and coordinating staff. You'd be directly responsible to the Club Manager, and able to work flexibly around the needs of the school as part of the wider staff team. You need to be confident about speaking to parents and managing a small amount of paperwork, as well as willing to engage in any necessary training and ongoing professional development required of the role. You'll have a positive, can-do attitude, good organisational skills, and good communication skills.

At Primrose Lane we are fortunate that our school is set in extensive and beautiful grounds, surrounded by mature shrubs and trees, and enclosed with fencing to make the site a safe, interesting, and varied environment for children to learn and play. The Club opens Monday - Friday, 7.30-8.50am and 3.30-6:00pm, and is situated in 'the bungalow'. The bungalow and surrounding field are sectioned off and designated for out of school provision. As manager, you'll be responsible for the daily setting up the provision in order to cater for differing ages and interests, ensuring that all children from Nursery to Year 6 enjoy their time at the Club. Primrose Lane is an inclusive school, and we work hard to meet the needs of all the children who attend our setting. This commitment is true for all the families who are a part of our Club and as manager you'll share in this ethos.

Discounted spaces are available for your own children if needed.
