Full Job Description

At Winchester Physio & Health, we are looking for an experienced Osteopath to join our team in central Winchester. A new but exciting clinic which looks after a growing caseload of simple and complex MSK complaints, sports injuries, and post-operative clients. We are looking for an ambitious individual that is looking to complement our existing multi-disciplinary team.

Your role will undertake a comprehensive assessment to formulate a diagnosis and develop an onward results driven treatment plan. We expect our team to offer a mix of experience-led and evidence-based treatment in the form of advanced manual therapy skills, in addition to advice and education regarding exercise rehabilitation.

You will be asked to work as an autonomous practitioner taking responsibility for the management of patients on your own caseload without direct supervision. Our clinic owner is an experienced MSK physiotherapist and will therefore be able to guide but not solely support you as an Osteopath.

Our Founder and Specialist MSK physiotherapist has extensive experience in private physiotherapy. From a sports background, he enjoys working as a team and continues to develop strong relationships with his network of other allied health professionals, specialist orthopaedic consultants, sport and exercise medicine consultants and private GP's.

With a mission to becoming the leading MSK clinic in Winchester, we would love an Osteopath to work alongside our team, to compliment our existing services and likewise, our existing team to refer and utilise the skills of another expert health professional., This is a self-employed role. A percentage share of revenue will be agreed on a self-employed contract.

Our internal teams will manage all appropriate marketing including SEO, Google Ads, and local partnerships and marketing to support the ongoing needs of an Osteopath, therefore supporting the direct revenue to the clinic and clinician.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekend availability


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Massage Therapist (preferred)

    Degree in Osteopathy from a recognised institution

  • - Registration with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)
    - Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
