Full Job Description

1. Working with the OD Team to support the commissioning of Trust-wide OD programmes; this may include the development of tender documents, course/programme outlines, using established and new booking systems, managing nominations and applications, overseeing the application progress and process, communicating pre-course/programme information, maintaining contact through the lifetime of the course/programme, evaluation collation and recording feedback. 2. Set up meetings, activities and events which support the delivery of the RNOH People Strategy including the administration for: People development and OD programmes and related training Talent management Staff Surveys Staff rewards and benefits Leadership development Staff focus groups and networks EDI/Staff Wellbeing related activities 3. Ensure resources and equipment are in place for people development and OD programmes, book and set up rooms, advertise programmes and events, set up and maintain a registration system, support
presenters and delegates, provide and collate evaluation processes, including recording of attendance and DNA rates, and produce output reports. 4. Assist with setting up new OD programmes, including developing and maintaining the manager skills and management, leadership development offering on the Learning Hub and values framework documentation, creating documentation to describe the process, organising training days, setting up meetings and moderation panels, and maintaining the information. 5. Use initiative to effectively solve problems in areas of responsibility and make judgements and assessments when it is appropriate to escalate issues to line managers and senior management. 6. Record people development and OD programmes in the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) database and or Learning Hub. 7. Provide administrative support to all subject matter experts in the OD Team. 8. Provide timely and accurate information to communicate via Trust websites. 9. Assist with any ad hoc projects that
may arise due to business needs or to meet regional or national directives. Work as part of the wider team and provide cross-cover administrative support to colleagues as required. 10. Set up Risk Register meetings, 1:1s, team meetings and OD meetings as required on a rolling basis. 11. Effectively deal with telephone, email, and written queries relating to people development, OD programmes, and Staff Benefits. Manage and maintain waiting lists for these programmes. 12. To use own initiative and work without direct supervision, make decisions on queries to enable suitable actions to be taken and queries resolved. 13. Communicate effectively, professionally, and sensitively, formally and informally. 14. Keep up to date with new developments in the department and develop own skills and competencies. 15. Assist in monitoring staff engagement and suggestion plans from specific areas. 16. Collaborate (matrix style) with the wider People Directorate to support the implementation of
OD programmes. 17. Any other reasonable duty or request as required within the remit and competency of the role.
