Optometrist

You'll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion and the willingness to build upon our customer-focused culture. As part of our team, you'll need to be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You'll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with a passion for the community. Teamwork also forms a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.

Specsavers in South Shields are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join them. Our Directors at South Shields are known for nurturing their team, with a focus on flexibility, they're open to full-time part time and would love to chat about what your ideal working week looks like.

South Shields is a coastal town in Tyne and Wear. We are within a 10 minute drive to the beach, where you can pop to Colmans Seafood Temple for some fantastic seafood, or for something more on the go check out Temple Tacos for a Crispy Prawn or Fish Taco. You could then take a stroll on the beach do to "Ocean Beach Pleasure Park" theme park which has rides and arcade games for all ages. We are close to the A1 and A19 and 5 minutes from the metro station, so easily accessible from most of Newcastle and surrounding.

Salary: £65,000 subject to your experience, plus a £10,000 joining bonus (T&C's Apply)
Working hours: Full Time or Part Time
Experience level: You must be a GOC registered Optometrist
