Full Job Description

You will work closely with the management team, warehouse and sales teams. You will understand Bon Coeur's vision, products and services. You will be a team player who actively contributes to the team's operation and development. You will be commercially aware and strive to offer a high level of customer service.

Day to day responsibility and activity includes, but not limited to:

  • Manage stock throughput, fine wine logistics, to meet sales demand across all sales channels.


  • Utilise the stock management system, liaising with freight forwarders, checking and landing stock, identifying cases and customer stock for private client wine storage.


  • Help ensure paperwork is all in order, highlighting and resolving any issues.


  • Work with the team on regular stock meetings, stock checks, maintain and further develop our stock management system to be as efficient as possible.


  • Liaise with third party wine storage warehouses, co-ordinating stock in and out on behalf of private customers.


  • Work closely with the Operations Co-ordinator to manage private client storage, driving efficiencies and improvements within the business and warehousing team.


  • General warehouse administration, help with picking, packing and back of house duties which may include occasional delivery driving when required.


  • During your probation period you will be receive thorough training and development on our IT system which is a dedicated wine platform and work towards understanding the nuances of a bonded wine system and assist warehouse and finance department to manage the systems and stock throughput where appropriate. Ongoing support will be provided to grow and develop your role within the team.

    This is a new and exciting role, you will have previous experience in a stock and logistics environment, be passionate about your job and have a positive can-do attitude. You will be able to multi-task and work well under pressure. A pro-active problem solver with excellent communication skills both written and verbal., You will need to be pro-active in the development of this role, be motivated to succeed and work on your own initiative.     About you

    You will probably have at least 5 years experience in warehousing and logistics.

    Well organised, good IT skills, with problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise.

    Good attention to detail, be process driven, methodical and quick to learn new skills.

    Easily approachable with good interpersonal skills.

    Someone who loves being part of a team and willing to go the extra mile for great customer service,
  • GCSE or equivalent (required), Operations management: 3 years (preferred)

  • Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

    Contract: Permanent with 6 month probation period

    Hours: Full-time five days a week, Monday to Friday
