Operations Director - Craft Union - Hertfordshire

We are recruiting for an Operations Director to lead and inspire a team of Regional Managers within our Craft Union division to drive performance for c. 160 Craft Union pubs. You will create a fun, positive, high performing working environment which drives achievement through people, delivering outstanding service and perfect execution, whilst maximising sales and profitability.

The role of Operations Director is a pivotal one at the heart of our business. You will make and execute strategic decisions and lead workstreams to deliver Balanced Scorecard targets, whilst operating within the Stonegate framework and legal parameters. The execution of your role must demonstrate Stonegate values, and you must lead by example to demonstrate positive behaviours.

You will listen to our Operators, delight our guests, always with a finger on the pulse of our competitors whilst ensuring community is at the heart of our Operator partnership.
Identify gaps and opportunities in Craft Union and identify solutions to bring to the Operations Executive Meetings. Contribute to the strategic development of the business by taking accountability for initiatives from inception to execution and review. Lead a team of Regional Managers, be passionate about them reaching their own potential. Promote a culture where the Operations team are accountable for all Operator recruitment. Work with Regional Managers to ensure that their leadership of Operators drives the right results. Implement initiatives that deliver strong commercial impact. Deliver Balance Scorecard within Regional Manager areas. Ensure your Regional Managers have a robust live business plan in line with strategy and budgets.
