Full Job Description

To support and coordinate the installation, deployment, and maintenance of computers, network assets and software and provide desk side support, when issues cannot be supported by the Moog help desk or desk side support.

Responsibilities Include
Coordinate the installation of all operational computer/technology onto the Moog test and/or production networks. Ensure any required services are functioning properly between the Moog test and production networks.
Provide schedule-critical support for Moog Reading Ltd IT assets and infrastructure
Maintain an inventory of all operational computer/technology used in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Clean Rooms, and Inspection areas.
Develop and partner with Moog Reading Ltd Operations and Test Equipment resources to maintain a lifecycle plan (initial build through end of need) including hardware/software maintenance for all specialized computer/technology used in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Clean Rooms, and Inspection areas.
Develop and partner with Moog Reading Ltd Operations and Test Equipment resources to maintain a business continuity plan for all specialized computer/technology used in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Clean Rooms, and Inspection areas
Site point of Contact/Project Coordinator for Network/System upgrades effecting specialized computer/technology used in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Clean Rooms, and Inspection areas
Provide budget input to management for the proper maintenance and/or upgrade of specialized computer/technology used in Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Clean Rooms, and Inspection areas.
Act as a liaison with Corporate IT technical teams to resolve technical IT issues effecting SDG business operations.
Work and collaborate with SDG Operational staff to understand Moog Operational IT equipment needs
Support upgrades and improvements necessary to keep the Operational IT equipment state of the art.
Identify systemic areas for improvement and work with the team, the value stream work-centres, and other functions to realize these improvements.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred or 9+ years of relevant experience with Desktop Computer Support.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Desktop Computer Support.
Advanced technical knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking
Proven technical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Ability and desire to learn and maintain skills with emerging technologies related to IT standards and computer/networking hardware
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Behavioural Competencies: Innovation, adaptability, decision making, communication, customer focus, building strategic working relationships, initiating action, quality orientation, managing work.
Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE or comparable experience preferred
Familiarity with Operational Technology used in Manufacturing, LabView and Engineering Test Systems is preferred

Additional requirements
Some light manual work lifting, connecting, and servicing computer hardware
Upholds and acts in accordance with Moog values
Some business travel may be required
