Full Job Description
- Be an integral part of developing and managing new digital initiatives to raise the websites' editorial and commercial profile.
- Grow this role by researching and taking ownership of your own stories.
- Write and edit news items across a range of exciting topics in this loved industry.
- Manage the digital content
- Demonstrate creativity and take ownership of the titles' social media profiles enhancing the brand profiles and increasing our exposure to a wider audience.
- Liaise with the industry to source content
- Collaborate with print editors to ensure synergy between digital and print content
You can demonstrate previous editorial skills - there is an option to upload previous examples of your written work in the application. - Some experience producing and optimising web content or certainly a willingness to learn.
- Knowing how to use individual social media platforms effectively to reach our target audience. We want you to enjoy utilising these platforms effectively.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise your work and multitask.
- Attention to detail is a must.

Mark Allen is looking for an Online Editor to develop and take ownership of its digital content and social media across its brands - Eureka!, New Electronics, Manufacturing Management and Machinery and MADE in Ireland.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in our Dartford office, with a starting salary of up to £27,000 (DOE) plus benefits. We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported., Mark Allen Group has seven divisions: MA Agriculture, MA Business, MA Dentistry Media, MA Education & Music, MA Exhibitions, MA Financial Media, and MA Healthcare
