Full Job Description
Working in a small, busy financial services practice the candidate will assist with day to day administrative duties. Position will begin as part time (we can be flexible with hours) but if wanted could develop into full time hours with the correct training.
Roles and responsibilities
As an administrator you will be responsible for the effective running of the administration department and servicing of the mortgage advisor.
You will be responsible for:
- Answering phones, emails and post
- Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors and estate agents
- Processing mortgage applications and arranging other protection plans
- Essential
Experience in administrative/PA background - customer service: 1 year (required)
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken, ability to engage and influence at all levels.
Experience user of Outlook, Word and Excel with the ability to learn other software applications
Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple demands.
Stress tolerance and resilience.
Confidentiality at all times.
Flexible in time and task.
Planning and organising, including the ability to appreciate urgency and the importance of tasks and to assist with effective prioritisation of the workload
Good attention to detail
Desirable:
Experience in Office Admin for at least a 1 year
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £12.00 - £13.00 / hour
