Full Job Description
Drive the implementation of the nursery curriculum, ensuring activities are engaging and age-appropriate
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Lead and supervise daily activities, including playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through planned activities
- Assist with personal care routines, such as feeding, changing diapers, and toilet training
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
Previous experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- A recognized qualification in childcare or early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Passion for working with children and promoting their well-being
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload,
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
