Apollo home healthcare is seeking dedicated Nursery Nurses to join our dynamic team, focusing on supporting children with complex care requirements. As a Nursery Nurse you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

  • Meet our service user

    Our service user is a sociable young man in his teens who lives at home with his loving family in Ormskirk and requires support with his complex and clinical care needs throughout the night.

    He is a very pleasant young man who loves spending quality time with his family and care team. A key aspect of this role will be supporting him enjoying his hobbies and interests, this includes exploring creative activities such as arts, crafts, and baking, and being out and about going for walks in the community.

    Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, making close observations and attending to his clinical care needs when required. He can at times have unsettled nights and you will be required to offer reassurance when needed, ensure his safety, comfort and attending to his needs and wants.

  • 3 months previous care experience

  • Personal Care

  • Moving and Handling

  • Medication Administration


  • Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
  • Epilepsy Care

  • Seizure Management

  • Rescue Medication

  • Bowel Care

  • PEG Feeding

  • UK Driving Licence

    Part Time Waking Nights Available- 2 shifts per week

  • 10:00pm - 8:00am

  • Alternate Weekend availability will be required for this position

    Weeknights: £14.50 per hour Approx. £145.00 per 10-hour shift

    Weekends: £15.00 per hour Approx. £150.00 per 10-hour shift

    Bank Holidays: £16.50 per hour Approx. £165.00 per 10-hour shift
