Nursery Nurse

The post will form part of a hardworking and very friendly Early years team. You will be working in a wonderful school where children are actively encouraged to be independent.

Key Worker duties include, but are not exclusive:

• Contribute to and formulate reports regarding children's progress.


• Assist with planning!


• Assessment & observation - responsibility for children's learning journeys


• Attend training, CPD.


• Setting up the nursery each morning


• Engaging with parents


The role will include supporting individuals, small groups, and child-initiated play. Support all aspects of the nursery including setting up and maintaining high quality provision, health and safety checks, risk assessments, first aid, assessment, and observation of children.

St Winefride's Catholic Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and hard-working Nursery nurse, who has a good understanding of the principles of the EYFS and how young children learn and develop from September 2024.
