Full Job Description

Assist in providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrate leadership skills by setting a positive example for children and colleagues
- Manage the well-being and safety of all children in your care
- Drive continuous improvement in childcare practices

The apprentice will work directly with children aged from 3 months to 5 years old on a day-to-day basis, supporting the planning and delivery of activities, providing quality play opportunities and extending children's learning to achieve their full potential in a safe, stimulating environment.

During the apprenticeship staff will work between 7.00 - 18.00 on a flexible working pattern to meet the needs of the nursery 51 weeks of the year .

At the end of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will gain a Level /3 Early Years Educator qualification with the possibility of a full-time position with the Kidz Day Nursery family.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- Proficiency in English language
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills within a nursery setting

Must hold English and Maths GCSE or equivalent

  • A full Dbs is required for this position completed for successful applicate.
