Full Job Description

Opportunity to start a career in product development and work with big customers, with progression opportunities within the team.
Work on-site and collaborate with the process team to take kitchen products into the factory, including olive and antipasti
categories.

Your Duties Will Include:

  • To support product developers in product development from concept to launch

  • Responsible for the development of innovation and product pipelines, identifying and proposing quality improvements and

  • defining the internal product & packaging brief
  • Effective delivery of the company product strategy for both brand and own label customer category plans

  • Effective delivery of the company product strategy for both brand and own label customer category plans

  • Effective handover of NPD/EPD to all relevant functions. Working with Process team to move product from kitchen to factory,

  • ensuring all aspects of product quality are met and delivers the agreed margin.
  • Support launch of product to agreed standards

  • Co-ordination of customer sample requests - organizing couriers and ensuring safe receipt of samples

  • Assist at internal company events

  • Store visits to collate information/purchase samples

  • Review performance, Capture lessons learnt and ongoing quality assessment

    The right candidate will have a passion for food and looking to gain experience in the development of food development., Good communication skills across functions and seniority

  • Good planning and, organisation skills

  • Good level of computer literacy - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

  • Maintain Food Safety Level 2 qualification

  • HACCP Level 2 course - training given if required
