NON-EMERGENCY PATIENT TRANSPORT DRIVER

Being a patient transport driver is a rewarding and fulfilling role. You will be helping someone in need, making their lives better providing you with a real sense of achivment.

Your main responsability will be transporting elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to and from their medical appoitments and between healthcare facilities so it is vital to hold a clean full UK driving license and to have a good degree of physical fitness.

Duties:

- Drive company vehicles to transport patients

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, patients, and team members

-Follow all trafic laws

- Assist patients in and out of the vehicles

- Assist with the handing over of patients to appropriate staff on arrival at the treatement center/hospital or to family/friends home.

- Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report any issues promptly

Previous experience a prefered

- Clean driving license held minimum 2 years

- Ability to maintain a clean driving record

- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and patients efficiently

- Be physically fit for patient handling

- Pass the Enhanced DBS check (company funded)

- Be able to work independent with minimal supervision
