NIGHT TIME YARD SHUNTER

We are currently seeking a Night Time Yard Shunter to join our team. As a Night Time Yard Shunter, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers and containers within the yard. This is a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.

Responsibilities:
- Operate yard shunting equipment to move trailers and containers within the yard
- Communicate with warehouse personnel to coordinate trailer movements
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of shunting equipment to ensure safe operation
- Safely maneuver trailers and containers in tight spaces
- Assist with loading and unloading of trailers as needed
- Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and inventory

Warehouse experience preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with warehouse personnel
- Mechanical knowledge to perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance on shunting equipment
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience with flatbed or delivery driving is a plus
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans
