Full Job Description

  • Efficient loading and weighing of vehicles, whilst maintaining safety and security of load and compliance with UFAS and feed safety regulations

  • Shunting Qualification desirable - and CPC even better!

  • Accurate recording and timely recording of paperwork

  • Responsibility to report any defects or damage to vehicles

  • Contribution as a member of a team to the efficient running of the factory, to produce animal feed of the required standard

  • Physically fit as some manual lifting is involved

  • Warehouse and forklift experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work well as member of busy team and

  • Proactively seek to maintain the general tidiness of the mill and transport areas and comply with the mill cleaning schedule

  • night loading: 1 year (preferred)

  • HGV driving: 1 year (preferred)

  • Night Work: 1 year (preferred)

    Opportunity to join the Mill Team of Harpers Feeds, a leading family owned manufacturer of high quality animal feed supplying customers across the South West

  • 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday 8.00pm - 4.30am (incl. 1/2 hour unpaid lunch)
