Motor Vehicle Technician

K-Tec Racing Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic and driven technician to join our workshop team. As the leading UK Renault Sport specialists our customers expect the highest standards of work from our staff and we expect the same from you.

Salary starts from £30,000-£35,000 p/a dependant on experience. Experiance within the Renault range, dynometer use/remapping, motorsport preparation would be an advantage.

The range of work we carry out is wide and varied and requires a broad knowledge base including:

• Diagnosis and electrical repair


• Engine & gearbox building


• Fabrication


• Servicing and general maintenance


• Tracking and geometry setup


• Race/track car preparation


• Product development & testing


The ideal candidate will have passed their level 3 apprenticeship and have the drive to learn the above with training and support being given as a part of the role where needed.

We also have the chance for a technician to attend the 750 Motor Club KTR Clio championship. Race meets attended would be paid overtime with 6 races over the year at various UK tracks. Duties will include the maintenance of the car prior to race meets and also trackside. Assisting customers with bookings for the cars rental.

Hours of work are 8.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. 28 days holiday including bank holidays. Weekends on occasion for company events/race meetings where needed as paid overtime or time in lieu.
