Mortgage Broker

We are looking for self-employed Mortgage Brokers to join our exciting team.

Main Responsibilities include;

- Meeting with clients in person, virtually or over the phone

- Fact Finding

- Assessing an Income & Expenditure breakdown

- Assessing which type of mortgage is most suitable for each client

- Keeping up to date with new mortgage products and changes in mortgage regulations

- Understanding the FCA regulatory requirements and ensure you meet these

- Researching and Advising our Clients on their Mortgage and Protection requirements

- Maintaining a fully compliant advice process

- Producing suitability reports on all advice areas

- Access to independent Residential, Buy to Let (personal and SPV/Limited Company), Equity Release, Commercial Mortgage, Bridging/Development Finance, Secured Loan and Private Bank (High Net Worth lending) products

- Access to personal and business protection products (no restrictions)

You will also have access to our office in Taunton with full office facilities including broadband.

Support

You will be provided with:

- Whole of market access to all Lenders and Providers for Mortgage and Protection products

- CRM system which also includes client portal access, electronic ID, Credit Reporting and a compliant advice process

- Full business support to allow you to grow your own client bank

- Freedom for Social Media marketing

- Your own Compliance team who will support you with case queries, advice areas, file reviews and personal development

You must be CeMAP qualified, have achieved CAS (competent adviser status) with at least 2 years experience in advising and arranging Mortgages, have good product knowledge and able to keep calm in high pressured conditions. You must be well organised, presentable and punctual with good communication skills, friendly and approachable.

You must be an ambitious individual who can generate your own enquiries and operate/be actively looking to build your own client bank.
