Full Job Description

Working in partnership with our client, the Midweight Copywriter will concept, write and edit copy for a variety of projects across a range of digital media, including APP & Website content, CRM, Social, and Display Ads.

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

You are self-driven, passionate about design and want to work on a global account where you can showcase your skills within a large group of creatives. The work is high paced, energetic and dynamic. You'll work closely with producers and account managers, delivering high quality digital or print assets whilst getting to know the brand inside out.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

You will work closely with the Creative team, ACD, Senior Creative, (other copywriters) in the team as well as Account and Production teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop copy.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Work on projects from start to finish, working collaboratively across teams and independently on ideation, creation and implementation

  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution.

  • When necessary, challenge and clarify the brief with Account teams and clients, drawing out the key points.

  • Capture the client tone of voice throughout all copy and proactively make recommendations for the direction of client projects

  • Produce creative copy with a clear rationale to accompany the work.

  • Collaborate with CD and Designers to drive unique and well-crafted copy that meet clients' needs as well as our own. This will include headlines and body copy across media.

  • Creating copy from scratch or amending existing copy for Print, Digital OOH, .com, CRM, Social, Retail, the client's apps and different event and campaign collateral.

  • Keeping up to date with current media trends.

  • Present at client meetings and internal creative reviews

  • An interest in sport/fashion/leisurewear and particularly the client brand and products.

    Experience Copywriting for the fashion industry

  • An impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas

  • At least 6 years full-time agency experience in a creative role.

  • Have strong experience working and presenting to clients.

  • Have experience creating master copy in US English as well as British English.

  • Be able to think strategically and ideate from a strategic brief.

  • Portfolio expressing strong examples of both conceptual and direct copywriting, editorial experience would be a bonus.

  • A good record in creating immaculate copy that stands out from the crowd.

  • A persuasive and confident approach to creativity

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Keen attention to detail and timescales

  • Familiarity with creative processes and techniques

  • Ability to adhere to internal processes, including following brand guidelines, Be Ambitious to succeed
