Full Job Description

As part of the production team, you will be expected to undertake a variety of role within metalwork and final assembly to support the factory requirements on a variety of products covering our essential markets within Nurse call and Custodial solutions.

The individual will be expected to demonstrate a flexibility, capability, and willingness to move around the factory to support production operations where required. Several workstations exist within metalwork including machine operations, grinding, linishing, studding, paint preparation, powder coating and final assembly of the metalwork. Tasks are not complex however the ability to produce to the required output and quality standard is essential.

The individual is expected to be a reliable team player, operating as part of a small team delivering this aspect of factory output.

Candidate requirements:

  • Press Brake Operator ( AMADA)

  • CNC Punch Operator

  • Powder Coater

  • Welder (Mainly TIG with some MIG)High level of manual dexterity

  • Ability to follow production drawings.

  • 'Can do' attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to function as part of a small team.

  • Experience of production environment

  • Experience of metalwork processes advantageous

  • Stable employment history

  • Ability to use an AMADA press
