We are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Act Administrator(Maternity Cover) to support in ensuring the legal requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983 atCygnet Lodge Salford. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity - starting from July 2024. Cygnet Lodge Salford is a high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for women. The service supports individuals with a primary diagnosis of mental illness, but they may also have a complex secondary diagnosis, including a personality disorder. Scrutinising section papers and checking that relevant paperwork is present
and correct Working with a team of professionals over two wards Demonstrating a flexible approach to the needs of the service and patients Ensuring that diaries and spreadsheets are updated with listings of hearings Notifying all parties concerned regarding report deadlines and dates of hearings Chasing up reports for all Tribunal and Managers Hearings Contacting Hospital Managers and arranging their attendance at Hearings Assist the Tribunal Clerk when required todoso, ensuring that the room is set up, paperwork available and collecting visitors from reception and to liaise with the Tribunal panel in the absence of the Clerk Data input of Section within the Mental health Act spreadsheet Complete Mental Health Act Audits using Corporate Template for All Wards.
