Full Job Description

  • Support day to day operations of the Medical Information Services function in the UK and other partners, including customer responses and relationship management (CRM) databases.

  • Align with GRAIL US Medical Information colleagues and support the creation and maintenance of Medical Information materials, including Standard Response Documents, Custom Response Documents, and ensure that information is scientifically accurate, timely, balanced, and meets UK customer needs

  • Support updating responses to Medical Information requests based on feedback/insights and release of new data

  • Coordinate review of medical and scientific materials through the Medical Affairs Review Committee (MARC) review process

  • Responsible for ensuring documentation of Medical Information inquiries and responses accurately and completely to comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), regulatory guidelines, and GRAIL process.

  • Assist in the reporting of insights and key metrics to monitor Medical Information services

  • Liaise with Medical Communication and review published literature to develop and maintain timely and relevant product expertise

  • Perform critical analysis and synthesis of internal/external literature related to GRAIL products and therapeutic areas of focus

  • Collaborate with US Medical Trainers and UK Medical Affairs to develop internal on-boarding programs for new GRAIL UK employees.

  • Serve as a member of the conference strategy committee and support UK scientific conference planning and activities

  • Exhibit broad knowledge of assigned product(s), therapeutic area(s), and regulatory guidance

  • Serve as Medical Affairs liaison to cross-functional groups for the incorporation of current medical/scientific information into departmental documents and processes, as needed.

  • Serve as a member of GRAIL's Extended Medical Affairs Leadership Team in the US.

    We are seeking a full-time Medical Information Specialist to join our dynamic UK team in support of our partnership with the NHS and expanding partnerships for Multi-Cancer Early Detection and cancer screening. Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs, Europe, with oversight by GRAIL US-Medical Information, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at responding swiftly to changing needs., Advanced degree in a clinical or scientific field (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent ONLY).

  • 3+ years in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology/device industry including 2+ years Medical Information experience within the UK. Experience supporting the UK-NHS preferred.

  • Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Strong skills in teamwork within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • Strong Google Suite (Gdocs, Gsheets, Gslides) are preferred, or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills required; experience using SalesForce, Veeva, SmartSheets, data visualization tools is advantageous.

  • A background in molecular biology/genomics, oncology, cell-free nucleic acids, or diagnostics will be beneficial.
