Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging Maths lessons for KS3/4 students with dyslexia and dyscalculia.

Use innovative teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.

Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed.

Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Develop and implement individualized learning plans to address specific needs and goals.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.

As a Maths Teacher in our SEN School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to students with dyslexia and some with dyscalculia. You will lead a class of 10-12 pupils, using your excellent communication skills and creativity to make Maths accessible and enjoyable for all students. Your role will involve planning and implementing a curriculum that meets the needs of each learner, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment., Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong understanding of dyslexia, dyscalculia, and effective teaching strategies for students with these needs.

Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
