Full Job Description

Reporting to the VP Marketing & Insight, the Student Marketing and Engagement Manager will be responsible for all student facing marketing at BridgeU, developing student engagement campaigns that drive engagement with BridgeU's platform and grow BridgeU's audience of international school students.

The role holder will work with the VP Marketing & Insight to spearhead new ways of working that ensure we increase student engagement with BridgeU. The Student Marketing & Engagement Manager will work closely with Product teams and content specialists to design and implement strategies that deliver on these aims and objectives.

The role requires someone with an email or performance marketing background, an analytical curiosity and ideally a good understanding of the student decision making process.

The post holder will manage an off-shore copywriter to assist with the creation of university partner copy, on-platform evergreen copy and email copy.

Responsible for:

  • Increasing student engagement reach and depth across all off-platform channels such as email, webinars and social media.

  • Ownership of student facing events, generating the events schedule and project managing the delivery.

  • Deliver university partner content into the BridgeU platform

  • Create evergreen, on platform content that assists students in their journey through BridgeU and into university.

  • Collaborate with VP Marketing and Insights and other key stakeholders to define the Student Engagement strategy, owning a roadmap of initiatives and acting as the lead/sponsor for these in the business.

  • Understand student user needs, preferences, and pain points to develop personalised and targeted approaches to drive activation and engagement goals, and manage the user journey to ensure a seamless and engaging experience across all touchpoints.

  • Develop and manage a student user segmentation plan through data driven insights.

  • Liaising with product teams to advise on product changes and developments that will enable BridgeU to better serve students.

  • Ensuring that we continue to grow the usage and the number of student engagements within the BridgeU platform and externally through the development of new and existing engagement channels.

  • Reporting on the overall performance of the student engagement initiatives and on individual partner campaigns.

  • Assist in the development of an attribution model to track and measure success for university partners and to enable BridgeU to understand the value of student engagement touchpoints.

    Experience delivering marketing and tech improvements, most likely in email and database marketing

  • Highly target-driven, and experienced working in either marketing and or student recruitment, admissions or marketing

  • Good understanding of the student journey and how this relates to BridgeU

  • Strong team/programme management and incentivisation/ persuasion skills - plus ability to work effectively with multiple internal stakeholders across different functions

  • An understand of content creation and how to use it to maximise engagement

  • Industry experience is advantageous, with experience of HE student recruitment

  • Strong analytical, technical and marketing competency

  • Excellent analytical skills to discover potential issues, opportunities and to iterate improvements

  • Ability to dive in and find answers to questions that may not yet be documented

    Salary: Up to £55,000
