About the job

The Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic, and outcome driven Marketing Specialist to join our Commercial Marketing team. An excellent opportunity to drive growth and learn from experienced marketers and sales teams. You will be responsible for demand generation marketing and cover the whole Northern Europe region (UKI and the Nordics).

You will work with the Sales Leadership, Account Executives and Solution Specialists to develop a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans for focus industries/solutionsthat includes a variety of, digital, content, events, email, social media and other actvity to reach your target audience. This would be across a variety of propositions and buying centres within the target accounts. This role will focus on new business demand generation - either with prospects or existing customers and protecting a renewal,

You will also actively be involved in Global or EMEA marketing networks to create campaigns and/or share best practices to ensure best results for the region. You will be confident at networking within and outside an organisation and representing the goals of the Northern Europe Sales and Marketing team. You will enjoy working with many different people to get your activity into market, and managing expectations with stakeholders. You will not be afraid to express your opinion. You will be a structured and organised project manager who will be able to multi-task and get activity out of the door to a high quality.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Deliver marketing efforts designed to drive new business with prospects or within existing accounts through an integrated go-to-market plan aligned to the initiative, product line, business unit and/or target account.Liaise with multiple organizations across SAS, including the sales business unit, product line specialists and other countries or regions to create and represe the go-to-market plan and gather feedback to drive the planning process.

  • Measure and react to success metrics, perform actionable analysis and make data driven decisions to improve outcomes and ROI (with the support of the data science team).

  • Leverage, enhance and adapt corporate marketing initiatives to be regionally messaged and relevant in order to ensure the right message is delivered to the target audience at the regional level.

  • Proactively contribute to global peer groups including sharing best practices and working cross-functionally to accomplish continuous improvement and increased sharing and learning, with the goal of establishing consistency across the globe., Our Recreation and Fitness center offers recorded fitness classes to help you fit movement into your day.

    2 years experience with a background in planning and running B2B Demand Generation programmes, ideally for technology companies.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or related discipline

  • You will have excellent communication skills, have good analytical and organisational capabilities, and be a great problem solver. Any experience within working across many countries would be an advantage, as would a background in Marketing Analytics, Big Data, BI products or solutions.

  • An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
