Full Job Description

The marketing professional will be expected to prepare and present ideas and deliverables on a regular basis, and to research market trends and industry data so that the company remains on the cutting edge.

Objectives of this role

  • Support the Director in creating effective strategic campaigns, that achieve company objectives

  • Increase traffic to the website and ultimately build up the sales funnel by building brand awareness

  • Create and deliver content and assets that can be used on social media, newsletters, the website and blogs

  • Find external partners who can collaborate on content, sharing blogs and press releases.

  • Assist with initiatives that drive brand awareness, trial, and distribution, including day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales support.

  • Support the development of sales and marketing materials, adapting scopes, timelines, and deliverables for maximum benefit


  • Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to execute sales and marketing campaigns, working with the team to understand what we're doing at any given moment and the marketing potential in everything we do.

  • Work with the social media manager to plan posts and campaigns, and create content.

  • Help gather and analyze data to reach insights about brands, competitors, and trends

  • Create evergreen, proactive and reactive content and assets.

  • Liaise with our artists to get them collaborating with us on projects and across channels.

  • Contribute to lead-generation and customer-acquisition activities, such as sales enablement, media promotion, networking, trade shows, and events. An example of this would be getting complimentary tickets to art fairs and then distributing this to our client base.

  • Coordinate public relations and outreach initiatives, including media releases, awards, company announcements, and speaker proposals.

  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insights, and assess against goals, You'll be working very closely with the Director and the rest of the team on a day to day basis, but there will also be a lot of autonomy and space to be a strategist and creative.

    Now, after 12 years in the business we're at a stage where we need a marketing professional to take us to the next level. We're looking for a permanent member of the team to work with us on a part time basis (2 days a week to start) and become an integral member of the team. We want a marketing professional who knows how to tell the story of what we do, really connects with the office world, and utilise our connections in the office ecosystem to build awareness and drive sales.


  • The ideal candidate will have experience in outbound or inbound marketing activities, ideally in a similar field, as well as a creative mindset for helping us remain fresh and competitive. You should have a knowledge of CRM's and how to get the best out of them, as well as a design flare for creating newsletters and be an excellent wordsmith who can draft blogs and press releases.

    Although a part time role, Art in Offices will rely on this person's ability to take the lead on marketing, assist the Director in creating strategies, and collaborating with our long standing Social Media Manager to create and share content. You will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be agile, working to longer term plans at the same time as being reactive, and able to promote the current activities at the company. We do a lot of events as well as curations and corporate collections.,
  • Two or more years of experience in marketing, sales, or advertising

  • Hands-on experience in developing campaigns and promotions

  • Knowledge of either the world of art, interior design or the corporate office sector

  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working both individually and as a team member

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines


  • Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field

  • Professional certification (ex: Professional Certified Marketer)

  • Experience in content development and website design

  • Experience with relevant markets and trends

  • Established media contacts, Bachelor's (preferred)
