Full Job Description

At Lasered Components Ltd, we are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join our team. This is a standalone role with an opportunity for significant impact within our business. You will be responsible for conducting insightful market research to establish and implement a marketing strategy that will have a proven track record of engagement and conversion.

You will have the support of the senior management team to see your ideas to fruition. You will be responsible for promoting company branding, the company website, email marketing and full autonomy on content creation on multi-channel marketing campaigns whilst supporting any relevant project work for your stakeholders.,

  • Maintain the company website as a resource to existing and new customers and drive lead generation. Liaising with the IT Manager and the external Marketing company for website project work, updates and improvements.

  • Organic social: Ideating content, briefing creative, scheduling, and managing engagement.

  • Digital Advertising and campaign running: Creating, managing, and optimising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), X (Twitter), LinkedIn and Google advertising.

  • Content Marketing: Writing content for engagement and discoverability. Asset creation in digital and print formats which supports our corporate branding.

  • SEO: A comprehensive understanding of SEO and SEO tools is essential, including ranking, audit, traffic, and backlink tools. PPC account management (Google Ads and analytics)

  • Email Marketing: Writing content, creating the campaign, and scheduling on email platforms, specifically Mailchimp.

  • Reporting: Creating monthly reports analysing data across all digital channels (social, Google Analytics, email etc) and providing insights to our clients.

  • Work with teams across both sites to create engaging and informative content for use across all channels with a keen eye for photography and videography.

  • Work in partnership with our external Marketing Company.

  • Plan and support company events and attendance of trade shows in order to grow company profile and brand awareness.

    Ability to work independently across multiple functions.

  • WordPress website management

  • SEO / PPC best practice

  • Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

  • Proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms.

  • Strong copywriting skills and a flair for writing persuasive copy and engaging, action-focused customer facing communications.

  • Extensive experience in creating high-quality marketing content for an array of media.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Brilliant commercial experience with an eye for the data.

  • 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be significantly advantageous.

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work., Bachelor's (preferred), Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)

    Working pattern:

  • 8hr a day, Monday to Friday, flexible on hours (Core business hours are from 8am to 5pm)

  • Hybrid working welcome if desired: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break

  • Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 annual, 24 days holiday + Banks
