Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Marketing Executive to join our marketing team.

The role will support growth of lead generation and sales across the business through development of: the design, production, management and distribution of information and content via website, social channels, print guides and handbooks.

The marketing team is digitally and performance focused to improve engagement and results through the recently re-launched website and brand identity. There is a need to develop our use of analytics and CRM data to improve customer engagement and experience across the business.

The role, working in tandem with the existing Marketing and Design Executive, provides variety and opportunity for learning and development. It suits somebody who is more data and technically orientated, practical and motivated by completing tasks that improve performance and the way things work.

Responsibilities:

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Weekly and monthly reporting against marketing metrics (Web, CRM and social).

  • Review metrics and make recommendations to improve marketing performance.

  • Communicate reports to key business stakeholders.

  • Automate collection and presentation reports.


  • Project Management:
  • Directing and managing suppliers to support effective delivery of identified projects.

  • Tracking marketing costs, raising purchase orders and invoicing against budget.

  • Liaising with internal branch and product teams to collect case studies and necessary information.

  • Updating of internal systems.


  • Hubspot CRM and Inbound Marketing
  • Managing access and use of Hubspot CRM.

  • Making sure training materials are up to date and support company wide adoption by sales teams.

  • Communicating best practice and reviewing usage across the sales team is in line with recommendations.

  • Managing and setting up reporting for business lines.

  • Working with the business lines to maintain the quality and cleanliness of the customer data.


  • Application Management:
  • Responsibility for management of 3rd party applications, software and data e.g. Glenigans and Zapier.

  • Ensuring effective use and application across the business.

  • Identification of alternative solutions that could be used to better effect to achieve marketing metrics.


  • Email Marketing:
  • Development of an email marketing channel.

  • Management of email database, ensuring GDPR compliant list.

  • Qualifications/ Attainments:
  • Good proficiency in Maths and English.

  • Business or marketing qualification.

  • Can demonstrate application of marketing principles to achieve a positive outcome for themselves or previous employer.


  • Skills:
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise projects, and meet deadlines.

  • Skills in the use of a relevant range of marketing systems:


  • - Web analytics
    - Design software i.e. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
    - CRM packages (Hubspot preferred)
    - Marketing automation
    - SEO 101
    - Web CMS

    Experience:
  • Would suit somebody looking for an in-house marketing role, that will provide room for learning, development, and growth.

  • Whilst a previous marketing role or qualification is not essential, an interest and understanding of marketing is., A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

    37.5 hours per week. (Monday - Thursday: 8.30am until 5pm, Friday: 8:30am - 4:30)
