We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our passionate team at Zoe's Place Baby Hospice in Middlesbrough. The role will support our fundraising and clinical teams to connect with all stakeholders about the support we need, and the care we provide, to enable families and children to live life to its fullest.

About Zoe's Place Baby Hospice:

Zoe's Place Baby Hospice is dedicated to providing specialized care and support to babies and infants facing life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. Our hospice offers respite, palliative, and end-of-life care to these young patients, while also providing invaluable support to their families. As a registered charity, we are proud to offer all our services free of charge at the point of delivery, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

- Writing catchy and compelling content for use on socials, website, Press and PR

- Design eye-catching leaflets, posters, and graphics for promotional materials, using tools such as Canva, both in print and digital formats in line with our new brand.

- Updating our supporters about hospice activities and occasional events to share across various social media platforms

- Maintaining the hospice website using the WordPress platform, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and user-friendly.

- Work closely with fundraising colleagues to deliver a coherent and consistent package of expert support across the different areas of fundraising and execute digital fundraising campaigns

- Manage and implement paid ads on Facebook supporting fundraising colleagues to deliver digital campaigns

- Serve as a brand ambassador by highlighting the exceptional care provided at Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, showcasing its day-to-day activities, and conveying its impact to stakeholders.

- Confidently conduct interviews and engage with key stakeholders to generate authentic content that resonates with the hospice's mission.

- Capture moments through photography and video during hospice activities and events, maintaining a visual record for promotional use.

- Work collaboratively with the team to brainstorm and execute marketing campaigns that raise awareness and support for the hospice's mission.

- Monitor and actively engage in online conversations related to the hospice, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

- Assist in organising and coordinating occasional events, leveraging your photography and interview skills to enhance content creation.

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, social media algorithms, and best practices to continuously enhance the hospice's digital presence.

- Keep up with marketing trends as well as performing some competitor analysis

- Support the Head of Marketing with SEO work to enhance our website presence, Training will be provided to enhance skills related to content creation, stakeholder engagement, Canva, Wordpress and other key systems if required.

Copywriting and enthusiasm for writing is essential

- Strong interest in digital marketing, social media and online marketing techniques

- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a creative mindset and a keen attention to detail.

- Previous experience of using Canva, Wordpress and Google Analytics

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Confident in conducting interviews, taking photos, and creating content

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently manage tasks.

- Working towards or possessing qualifications in a marketing or related field.

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards the hospice's mission and the families it serves.,

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)


  • Experience:
  • Copywriting: 1 year (preferred)

  • Marketing: 1 year (preferred)

    Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
