Full Job Description

Remitly is hiring a Marketing Associate to join our EMEA & APAC marketing team and help grow our remittance business. This will be an operational role reporting into the Senior Marketing Lead, with opportunities to help bring integrated marketing campaigns to life across the UK, Europe and Australia. Main responsibilities will include campaign briefing, media buying and planning. You will partner with our creative team and agency partners to plan and activate campaigns.
This position is a hybrid role based in London and will require approximately 50% of your time in the office. #LI-Hybrid
You Will:

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Lead on the execution of our brand campaigns across the EMEA and APAC regions to raise awareness and consideration of Remitly with our target customers.

  • Develop full-funnel marketing campaign plans, working with agencies and internal stakeholders to manage the end-to-end process. From briefing and media planning to budget management and activation.

  • Work with our analytics team to measure impact of campaigns, and build campaign wrap ups and reports to share results and insights with the wider team.

  • Support with the planning and buying of media across a variety of channels including TV, Out Of Home, print, radio, and community marketing.

  • Build creative briefs and work with our creative team to deliver assets for our campaigns and marketing channels.

  • Work with social media and content teams to bring campaigns to life via organic social channels.

    An undergraduate degree (preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Business)

  • 1-2 years of marketing experience

  • Familiarity with the basic principles of marketing and have an interest in learning more

  • Solid project management and communication skills

  • A strong sense of organisation and ability to move projects forward

  • A desire to understand the Remitly customer and remittances, with the ability to translate these insights into results

  • Comfort with both qualitative and quantitative analysis


  • European language skills (French, Spanish, German) are a bonus
